Greetings,

I'm trying to install the quest sudo package on a few solaris 8 severs and get the following error message:

# pkgadd -d QSFTsudo-1.6.8p12q93-sol26-sparc.pkg

The following packages are available:
  1  QSFTsudo     QSFTsudo 1.6.8p12q93
                  (sparc) 1.6.8p12q93

Select package(s) you wish to process (or 'all' to process
all packages). (default: all) [?,??,q]: 1

pkgadd: ERROR: request script did not complete successfully

Installation of <QSFTsudo> failed.
No changes were made to the system.

This problem doesn't seem to occur on our solaris 9 servers.  I've taken a look at the request script and don't see any obvious problems with it.  I can run it manually without any trouble.  How should I go about troubleshooting this?

Thanks,

Frank
